ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS

Studio Theatre Group is delighted to present One Man, Two Guvnors, a fast-paced comedy packed with mistaken identities, quick wit and chaotic misunderstandings. Set in 1960s Brighton, the story follows the resourceful but perpetually hungry Francis Henshall, who secretly takes on two employers at once in a bid to earn extra money. As their lives become increasingly intertwined, Francis must juggle competing demands, hidden relationships and a series of outrageous deceptions without being found out. Inspired by Carlo Goldini's Italian commedia dell'arte romp "The Servant of Two Masters", Richard Bean's award-winning play "One Man Two Guvnors" combines slapstick humour, sharp dialogue and unforgettable characters in a joyous celebration of theatrical comedy that aims to delight audiences of all ages.
