Support the Arts in Aberdeen
Support Aberdeen's Independent Stage
At Aberdeen Arts Centre, we believe in the power of creativity to bring people together, spark imagination, and transform lives. As a registered charity, we rely on the generous support of our community to keep the arts alive and accessible for everyone. Your support helps us continue to be a vibrant cultural hub in the heart of Aberdeen - where stories are shared, skills are developed, and creativity flourishes.
We’re proud to be home to over 35 local performing groups, offering a stage and a safe space for people of all ages and backgrounds to connect through theatre, music, and movement. Our Creative Learning programme welcomes participants from birth to 100+, delivering inclusive classes in drama, creative writing, art, crafts, and more. Whether it's a toddler taking their first steps into their imagination or an older adult finding joy in acting, we're here to support creative journeys at every age.
We're also committed to nurturing the next generation of talent through our Artist Development programme, offering emerging creatives opportunities to learn, grow, and share their voices. By supporting Aberdeen Arts Centre, you’re helping to build a stronger, more connected community - where the arts are not a luxury, but a vital part of everyday life.
Save Aberdeen Arts Centre
We need to raise £180,000 by 1 July 2025 to return the organisation's reserves to a sustainable level ahead of a council debate, at which elected members can choose to reinstate funding to Aberdeen Arts Centre.
This initial target is part of a larger £660,000 fundraising goal for the next three years, getting the Arts Centre to a position where the team can apply for Creative Scotland's Multi-Year Funding portfolio.
PLEASE DIG DEEPLY - anything you can spare will go towards providing incredible creative opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds from across Aberdeen and the north east of Scotland.
