Feed The Seagull Productions was established in 2025. Formed from a long time goal of a team who met performing in the Aberdeen Student Show, the company initially aimed to form in 2026 but when they heard about the financial challenges facing Aberdeen Arts Centre, the company was spurred into existence an entire year early. In the summer of 2025, the group came together to produce a 24 Hour Musical in aid of the venue.

Feed The Seagull Productions aims to create theatre that impacts its audience and the local community, be that financially, emotionally or politically. The company aims to change Aberdeen for the better.

Guided by the principles of "Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue"

SOMETHING OLD - Through their in-house productions, Feed The Seagull wants to develop the formats that are already popular in Aberdeen!

SOMETHING NEW - "But things like that just don't happen in Aberdeen"... well let's make it happen! Whether it is a large scale site-specific production, a variety show, or a promenade piece for accidental audiences, the team wants to make something that Aberdeen hasn't experienced.

SOMETHING BORROWED - Time to collaborate! If you have an idea, the team at Feed the Seagull want to hear it. The team aims for the company to become a platform to create events. If you want experience directing or are a seasoned pro but need financial backing and help to bring your project to life, time to get started! Feed The Seagull aims to become a platform shaped by Aberdeen, giving local theatre makers, technicians and artists the foundations they need to fly!
