What's On: 21st / 22nd May: Singin' In The Rain (1952)
28th / 29th May: South Pacific (1958)
11th / 12th June: Summer Holiday (1962)
18th / 19th June: Grease (1978)

This May and June, we’re making a big song and dance at Aberdeen Arts Centre!

The magic of movie musicals meets tea, chat and hands-on craft activities in Musicals & Makes at Aberdeen Arts Centre — a free series of classic film screenings with sociable themed arts and craft sessions attached.

Tuesday 21st & Wednesday 22nd May it's Singin' in the Rain!

Join local maker Lynne Hocking for some hands-on making activities inspired by the musical screened in the same week. The activities will be different each week, including embroidery, paper weaving, and more! We'll provide all the materials, tools and support you need to get making. Come along and try your hand at something new, or use/share skills you already have.

All events are free and we welcome anyone aged (roughly) 55+ to join us and get involved. Tea/coffee and fancy pieces are provided and these sessions are all about enjoying wonderful films, trying something crafty and meeting up with friends, old and new.

Your creations will be displayed in the Arts Centre at the end of the workshop series in an event for you to share with family and friends.
