Robert Porteous de Lanxeth (d.1661) - Exhibition on the 400th anniversary of the Scotsman's arrival in Poland. Porteous was a Scottish-born importer of Hungarian wine into Poland, and almost certainly, the wealthiest Scotsman in the Poland of his day. Today, an annual wine festival, a hotel, street name, and an array of monuments in his adopted town of Krosno, south-east Poland, celebrate his story. ’Polish Soul’ is an exhibition of photographs by Dorota Puszkiewicz. Prepared for the celebrations of 'Polish Heritage Day' in Aberdeen.
