Easter School 2018
New for Easter 2018!
We've completely revamped our programme of classes for young people over school holidays and are delighted to launch the first Easter School in April (9th - 13th) 2018!
A week long programme of classes has been designed around the theme of Roald Dahl to offer focused tuition in a wide range of arts - including dance, drama, musical theatre and crafts. Groups will be divided by age and appropriate content targeted to each. Throughout the week there will be the opportunity for participants to delve into each area, learning and having fun whilst working towards a performance for parents/guardians at the end of the week showcasing what they've learnt.
Our workshops will be full of fun and make-believe with games, drama, musical theatre, crafts, jewellery-making and dance. Most importantly, using our imaginations whilst creating our own performances!
Each class will be taken by a highly experienced tutor, each having specialist training in each of the key areas: dance, drama, musical theatre and craft-making. All our tutors and assistants are PVG certified.
Each day, in their groups, participants will rotate through the different disciplines, keeping their attention in short sessions, whilst allowing them to experience each and let their imaginations run free!
AGE 3-5 & AGE 6-8
You are invited to enter the scrumdiddlyumptious world of Roald Dahl. Have a phizz-whizzing time visiting places like BFG country, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, meet Alfie from Esio Trot and many more. Come see where your golden ticket will take you!
"I guess you think you know this story. You don't. The real one's much more gory."
You are invited to enter the wonderful and weird world of Roald Dahl and his Revolting Rhymes.
Cinderella decides not to marry her prince when he reveals a surprisingly callous streak; Snow White befriends seven jockeys who are compulsive gamblers; and Goldilocks proves to be a real hoodlum! So, let's dispense with the usual happily-ever-after endings - fairy tales will never be the same.
For Ages 6-8 and 9-12:
Classes will run all day from 10am - 3:30pm. £120 per person
For Age 3-5:
Ages 3-5 can come for morning or afternoon only sessions, or - if the child wants to - take part in both and spend the whole day immersed in the world of Roald Dahl!
MORNING SESSION: 10am - 12:30pm £60 per person
AFTERNOON SESSION: 1pm - 3:30pm £60 per person
FULL DAY SESSION: 10am - 3:30pm £120 per person
For all sessions, participants are required to register/sign in and be ready to start their first class at 10am (1pm for afternoon only session).
